Joseph Carr Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Our Flagship Wine is a traditional Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. It is aged twenty-two months in French oak and almost a year in bottle. The wine displays a deep purple hue, with scents of black current, smoke and saddle. The palate is approachable and rich with dark cherry, berry and ripe plum flavors. The finish is long, elegant and paired with soft tannins. Vineyards include Sycamore, Rutherford Bench, St Helena, Beckstoffer, Chateau Montelana and Diamond Mountain. |
