A-Mano Primitivo 2006
A-Mano is a stunning example of a concentrated, elegant, rich, deep, dark purple wine. The raspberries jump out of the glass to herald the aromas to follow, blueberry, tar, leather, anise and cedar. The complexity evolves and the soft, velvety tannins linger on the long, long finish. This is a wine that reveals a new treasure with each sip. Wine Advocate The 2006 Primitivo is a beautiful, expansive wine loaded with super-ripe jammy fruit and sweet toasted oak flavors. This generous, racy red offers superb length and is a ridiculous value for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2009 . Score: 88. —Antonio Galloni, May 2008. |
