Intense ruby red color. This red wine contains Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. After pressing, it was stored for 16 months in barriques of french oak wood. Thereafter, the wine was bottled and stored for further 6 months before putting it on the market. Gagliole is well structured and balanced with dense, sweet tannin. It should be served at a temperature of 18° C.
Wine Spectator Dark in color, showing fabulous aromas of crushed blackberry and raspberry, with a hint of honeysuckle. Full-bodied, with layers of polished, velvety tannins and bright acidity and fruit. Very long and concentrated, yet refined and caressing. Superb. The best wine to date from this producer. Best after 2010. Score: 96. —James Suckling, October 15, 2007.Customers who purchased this item also bought:
