Sineann

The fruit for the 2009 Sineann Oregon Pinot Noir is grown on our best vineyard sites. We were very selective in the barrels we blended to make this spicy, rich, very delicious Oregon Pinot Noir. Another in a long string of excellent vintages, this wine will deliver much near-term enjoyment as well as reward patient aging.

Wine Enthusiast

Grapes comes from a half dozen of the sources used for the winery's pricier single-vineyard bottlings; a good start. Despite its youth, there are no rough edges to this wine; it is soft, silky and utterly seductive. Plummy fruit mingles with streaks of chocolate and a whiff of red licorice, a rich vein of fruit and barrel, supported with well-tamed tannins.

Score: 91. —Paul Gregutt, August 01, 2011.

Wine Spectator

Light and silky, with pretty orange peel-scented berry and spice flavors on a lean, seductive frame. Drink now through 2014. 2,300 cases made.

Score: 89. —Harvey Steiman, July 31, 2011.
