After Florens-Louis Heidsieck, nephew Henri-Louis Walbaum and brother-in-law Auguste Heidsieck together created one of the most exclusive Champagne brands of all time : HEIDSIECK & C¡ MONOPOLE enjoys a long and illustrious history of Champagne which continues today on tables around the world as lovers of great champagnes share cherished moments together. Heidsieck & C¡ Monopole, a synonym for exclusivity this particular Brand was recognized as a premium Champagne by kings, emperors and aristocrats, and received royal warrants from the King of Prussia, Emperor of Germany (1818), the British Crown (1911), and the Swedish Crown, King Gustav (1933), or Tsar Nicolas II whom orders for Heidsieck & C¡ Monopole reached the quantity of 400,000 bottles for his personal cellar. It is no wonder that HEIDSIECK & C¡ MONOPOLE distributed already 1,5 million bottles worldwide by the world of the 19th century and was considered by connoisseurs as very great wines.
