Albino Rocca Barbaresco Vigneto Brich Ronchi 2005
Deep garnet red in color, the Bric Ronchi has an intense nose packed with fruity aromas of cherry and blackberry, layered with notes of vanilla, toasted nuts, and sweet spices. Rich, soft, and quite fresh on the palate, it has fine tannins and good length. Wine Spectator Shows loads of strawberry jam on the nose. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and lots of ripe fruit and oak. Slightly mouthpuckering. Needs time to come around. Best after 2012. Score: 92. —James Suckling, 2008. |
