The proprietary red, the 2014 Artistry (56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 11% Malbec and 7% Petit Verdot) is an attractive blend with a dense ruby/purple color, some spice box, red and black fruits, new saddle leather, and a whiff of background oak. It is medium to full-bodied, competently made, clean, pure, but perhaps lacking in complexity and singularity. Nevertheless, it will provide delicious drinking over the next decade or more.

This blends 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, 11% Malbec and 7% Petit Verdot. Tight-grained tannin structure dominates a full-bodied brawny expression of wood and oak as well as ripe cherry, clove and cinnamon.
