Brassfield Eruption 2013
|Region||California, North Coast, High Valley|
Wine AdvocateThe best red is the 2013 Proprietary Red Eruption, another intriguing blend of Malbec, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Mourvèdre. The good news is there are 23,000 cases of this excellent value, which exhibits dark berry fruit along with some plums, Asian spice, and touches of licorice, earth and meat. It is rich, chewy and medium-bodied, with terrific fruit intensity. Drink it over the next several years.
