Carmelo Patti Malbec 2012

SKU 23651

Brick red in color. Rustic nose, with tremendous depth - resinous strawberries, tilled soil, and bing cherries. On the palate, the wine opens even more, with more berry flavors and hints of mint and caramel. Finishes soft, with supple tannins.

Wine AdvocateThe 2012 Malbec from Perdriel, the only young wine he sells, is a fresh, serious Malbec mixing notes of ripe fruit, tobacco, pollen and honey with very good freshness, clean and pure flavors, sweet tannins and length. No fireworks, just a great young Malbec. Drink now-2017.

Wine EnthusiastEarthy aromas of mushroom blend with dry black-fruit scents. In the mouth, this is raw, with overt acidity and flavors of earthy berry fruits. The finish fails to stand out. Tasted twice.
