Vinous"The 2013 Barbera d'Alba is quite pretty. Dark raspberries, mint, flowers and spices are some of the notes that inform Massolino's 2013 Barbera d'Alba. Floral and silky in the glass, the 2013 impresses for its balance and understated personality. The Barbera was aged in a combination of steel and concrete."

Wine AdvocateThe 2013 Barbera d'Alba only sees contact with stainless steel and shows a sharply delineated personality as a result. Vinous notes of red cherry, plum and dried blackberry rise from the glass. A bright spot of acidity adds energy and zest to the finish.
