Wine AdvocateMassolino's 2018 Barbera d'Alba is an easy-drinking expression, with bright acidity and crunchy, dark fruit flavors. This wine is made in stainless steel only, following a classic, non-interventionist approach, with simple pump-overs during fermentation for up to 15 days, depending on the vintage. After it is cold stabilized, it is then put into the bottle for a short period, just to relax a bit more than anything else. It's a simple, fresh Barbera that's a good match for prosciutto and cold cuts.
