I Stefanini Il Selese 2014
The colour is straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose it is delicate and flowery, with notes of elderberry and hawthorn, together with juicy sensations of ripe peach, apricot and tropical fruits. It gracefully reveals the typical white flowers and almond mark of the Garganega variety. On the palate it is dry, medium-bodied and smooth with a pleasant long mineral finish. Food Pairing: Best served with lighter first courses, white meat and vegetable recipes, fish and shellfish dishes. An excellent pairing with the traditional Venetian fish soup and risotto.
Wine SpectatorBright and snappy, with tangy tangerine, kiwifruit, lime blossom and ground ginger notes. Light-bodied and balanced, this is an easy-drinking white. Drink now through 2017.
