Adamvs Téres Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Wine AdvocateComposed of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot from the estate's Howell Mountain holdings and vineyards in Oakville, Rutherford and Mt. Veeder, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Téres (around 1,400 cases produced) possesses amazing purity as well as dense blueberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with acacia flowers, new oak, graphite and a haunting floral note. Full-bodied, opulent and majestic, it should drink well for 15-20 years.
Wine SpectatorThough rustic and chewy, the core flavors of earth, blackberry, wild berry, crushed rock and graphite offer hope for the future. The big caveat is the density and power of the tannins, which remain grainy and drying. Best from 2018 through 2028. 1,250 cases made.
