The Malbec brings red fruit and floral aromas while the Syrah offers spicy notes. The softness of the Malbec blended with the tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon and the structure of the Petit Verdot allow a complex and harmonious wine with a long finish.

Wine AdvocateMalbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petit Verdot; spice box, lavender, black fruits; smooth, likely to evolve.

Wine EnthusiastWoody and smelling of sawdust early, this four-grape blend eases toward roasted berry, cassis, herbal plum and molten chocolate. It's massive and structured, with a big-boned skeleton and heat on the leathery, roasted finish due to 15.5% alcohol. Big, fiery, saucy and lusty, but short on refinement and elegance.

Wine SpectatorDark and briary, featuring cocoa, fig paste and dark plum sauce notes. Plum skin and toast hang on through the muscular finish. Shows more power than freshness, but has good range. Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Drink now. 10,000 cases made.
