Wine AdvocateBottled in the middle of March following the vintage, the 2015 Beaujolais Villages Les Vignes de Thulon underwent a slightly shorter maceration than the 2014 since apparently the color in the vat came immediately. It has a powerful bouquet with kirsch, macerated red cherries and candied orange peel - just outstanding for a Beaujolais Villages. The palate is powerful with layers of pure red cherry and black plum fruit, plenty of spice and licorice, dense in the mouth but with more than enough freshness at the finish. About the best Beaujolais Villages you will find.
