Butter Chardonnay is rich, bold and luscious. Made in the tradition of quality Californian wine making, the grapes we select are juicy, ripe and bursting with flavor. We cold ferment this easy-to-love Chardonnay to a lush creaminess and age it in our unique blend of oak. Butter brims with stone fruit and baked-lemon notes and has a lovely, long, vanilla finish.
Far Niente Chardonnay 2017The 2017 vintage opens with aromas of melon, sweet citrus and white blossom floral layered with notes of flint, yeast and sweetly toasted oak. A smooth and focused entry is followed by a silky midpalate with ripe flavors of honeydew and lemon, supported by just of touch of wet stone, yeast and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is long and structured with citrus rind and mouthwatering acid.

J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay 2018The 2018 Riverstone Chardonnay exhibits youthful hues of light straw. The enticing aromas are reminiscent of white peach, apricot, ripe orange, and cocoa, and complemented by the palate flavors of citrus cream and nectarine. The rich texture and balance on the palate from aging sur lie gives way to flavors of vanilla, crème brûlée, and a touch of oak can be found on the long finish. Our Riva Ranch Single Vineyard Chardonnay is sourced exclusively from our Riva Ranch Vineyard in Arroyo Seco, Monterey. Arroyo Seco, where we have been growing grapes since the 1960's, is widely regarded as one of the best places in California to grow Chardonnay. The cool growing season with the deep gravelly soil ripen the Chardonnay perfectly which gives natural balance of sugar and acidity.

Landmark Vineyards Overlook Chardonnay 2017Pale yellow in the glass, showing aromas of meyer lemon, baked apple and honeysuckle. The fullbodied palate shows ripe lemon, yellow apple skin on entry with, creamy peach, subtle butterscotch notes and chamomile flower with a hint of salted caramel on the mid palate. The finish has an attractive mineral texture and fresh acidity with lightly toasted brioche and tropical fruit notes. Pair simply with yellowtail sashimi garnished with a fresh lemon wedge, or try it with a dressed-up. Pairs beautifully with browned scallops in an herbed butter roux. Also try a firm cheese such as a gouda or dry jack.

It is crafted in a fresh, soft style with bright apple and sweet citrus fruit character with subtle spice and oak nuances. We blend Chardonnay grapes from vineyards throughout Washington's Columbia Valley to make this a complex and interesting wine. Cheers! Pairs well with crab, poultry, salmon, scallops. Herbs: Ginger, lemon zest, tarragon, thyme.

Mouth: The carefully chosen, lightly impactful French oak serves to convey a perceived sweetness that is perfectly balanced by the clean acidity around the edges of the palate. Although deceivingly full bodied, the wine maintains a juicy mouthfeel and a clean, concise finish.
