Fantastic aromas of crushed berry, toasted oak and licorice. Full-bodied, round and velvety, with lots of flavor and a medium finish. Needs time to develop. Big and rich in a new-wave style. Best after 2008. 250 cases made.
The 2003 Le Plus smells like a chocolate fudge sundae with notes of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, blackberries, and sweet cherry jam. Possessing great depth and plenty of flesh as well as some heavy duty tannins, it should drink well between 2008-2023. This cuvee tips the scales at 14% natural alcohol.
