After wine country’s devastating fires of 2017, Napa Valley vintners Ryan and Crystal Waugh wanted to find a way to help the people and communities who were affected. From this desire, Relief Wines was formed. A 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, Relief Wines will give 100 percent of its profits to three causes that are important to the Waugh family.

William Hill Napa Valley Chardonnay 2016Smooth and luxurious, our William Hill Estate Napa Valley Chardonnay reflects the balanced tension between lusciousness and liveliness that is a hallmark of winemaker Mark Williams. The 2016 Chardonnay has a textured palate and full mouthfeel that culminates in a bright, lingering finish. Complex layers of fruit, including hint of ripe apple, pear, robust tropical notes and a touch of juicy lemon all blend seamlessly with hints of coconut and baking spice, then finish with caramel and toasted oak for a rich expression of Napa Valley Chardonnay.

J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay 2018The 2018 Riverstone Chardonnay exhibits youthful hues of light straw. The enticing aromas are reminiscent of white peach, apricot, ripe orange, and cocoa, and complemented by the palate flavors of citrus cream and nectarine. The rich texture and balance on the palate from aging sur lie gives way to flavors of vanilla, crème brûlée, and a touch of oak can be found on the long finish. This wine can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes, including Dijon tarragon chicken, roasted halibut,or moules marinière.

Beringer Bros. Bourbon Barrel Aged Chardonnay 2017This wine showcases a bouquet of ripe apricot, vanilla beam, and buttered toast. Creamy and mouth-coating, the palate evokes apple pie and vanilla ice cream with caramel coming through on the lingering finish.
Robert Foley Napa Valley Chardonnay 2018Inaugural vintage. This is crafted in the style that we personally prefer, avoiding the heavy hands of malo-lactic fermentation and excessive oak. The aroma offers suggestions of vanilla, lemon and butterscotch, which are also delivered in the avor pro le on the palate. Medium in body, there is a delightful liveliness from ample and integrated natural acidity, that also provides for a long mouth- watering nish.
Jam Cellars Butter Chardonnay 2018Wow…Butter Chardonnay is rich, bold and luscious. Made in the tradition of quality Californian winemaking, the grapes we select are juicy, ripe and bursting with flavor. We cold ferment this easy-to-love Chardonnay to a lush creaminess and age it in our unique blend of oak. Butter brims with stone fruit and baked-lemon notes and has a lovely, long, vanilla finish. Simply put, it melts in your mouth!
Butternut Chardonnay 2018Aromas of peach, hazelnut and spiced candied apple breeze around the brim. Round, creamy notes of fig, butterscotch and sweet oak dance on the palate. This Butternut Chardonnay is amazing with wild rice with toasted nuts and dried currants or crab cakes and risotto with spring vegetables.
Simi Sonoma County Chardonnay 2018The hue of this wine is brilliantly clear, golden straw-a color that dramatically sets the stage for what is to come. The nose is similarly demonstrative, with expressive notes of baked apple and pear, a spritz of citrus, and notes of crème brûlée, roasted marshmallow, clove, and vanilla. It all comes together on the palate with tangerine, lemon, butterscotch, and shortbread cookie flavors. The mouthfeel is Rubenesque in its richness with balancing minerality on the finish. Enjoy this food-friendly Chardonnay with smoked salmon with lemon aioli and toasted brioche; spot prawns sautéed with garlic, lemon, and parsley; or a Caprese salad with ripe peach slices, basil, and fresh mozzarella.
