Expressive nose with fruity notes. Vine peach, yellow kiwi, lychee dominate. Notes of white flowers but also pink complete the bouquet. The olfactory expression is complex. Supple on the attack, the palate is round, tender. Apricot marmalade invades the palate, in aroma and texture. A nice freshness is present throughout the mouth. This ensures a nice balance and a saline finish. The whole is delicious, crunchy. Long aromatic return on orange zest.

The Thauvenay-based estate 2020 Sancerre Blanc is slightly reductive at the moment, offering flinty characters over ripe apple fruit and gooseberries. It's fresh, clean and pure with mouthwatering acidity and modest concentration, giving a feeling of looseness in the mouth. That said, there's structure on the finish, providing the mouth with grip. The 14% alcohol is definitely a touch warming, which slightly flattens the conclusion.
