Wine AdvocateThe 2010 Josep Foraster Trepat comes from the wineryâ€™s 52-year-old vines grown at 500 metres altitude and cultivated organically (though not certified.) It is matured in French oak of which 70% is new and the rest second fill. It has a pale ruby colour. The nose is light with traces of red berry fruit, but develops stony, tertiary aromas. The palate is light and fresh, lacks substance due to the grape variety rather than winemaking, but it is clean and fresh on the finish. Drink now.
