House of Independent Producers Merlot 2010
Post modern northern latitude west coast style. Soft with some angularity, focused acid, somewhat wildly intoxicating, and picked early for greater vintage precision, yet medium high PH for smoothness. Coffee, pencil lead, anise, and earth. A vineyard focused place of origin wine. The 2010 vintage is characteristic of the Bacchus Vineyard. An established property, with solid yields, sustainably farmed, make for a wine with typical fine extraction while still possessing elegance and light perfume qualities.

Bodegas Campo Viejo TempranilloCrafted from 100% premium Tempranillo and a passionate winemaking philosophy. The result is a fresh and lively fruit expression of the variety, that is undeniably Campo Viejo. Nose is rich in aromas and pronounced in intensity. We are struck by the ripe red fruit, later we get the wood nuances with gently sweet notes of vanilla to finish with other sweet spices. On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. Enjoy with pasta, poultry and fresh light cheeses, grilled chicken, small bites (light cheese, grilled vegetables).
The Walking Dead Blood Red BlendA wine to sink your teeth into, our Blood Red Blend drips with intense, bold flavor. Site Wines Red Blend 20122012 Larner Red Wine: This wine is a blend of Syrah (75%), Grenache (20%), and Viognier (5%). The syrah and viognier were harvested October 20 and fermented together in small bins, with a small amount of the Syrah and all of the Viognier being whole cluster. The Syrah portion aged for 18 months in 80% new French oak. The Grenache spent 18 months in neutral French oak before everything was blended. The wine offers black currants, cracked black pepper, charcuterie, and white flowers. The mouth is rich yet very lively, with an ample supply of soft tannins and a long finish. 50 cases produced.
Melini Chianti Borghi d'ElsaBorghi D'Elsa has intense, fragrant and elegant aromas of blackberries and raspberries, with violet and Florentine iris notes. On the palate, the taste is dry, full, harmonious and slightly tannic, with an elegant aftertaste of toasted almond and fruits of the forest.
Dusted Valley Stained Tooth Syrah 2012Purple is our favorite color. You know you're drinking the good stuff when your teeth develop that unmistaken hue. As Chad's father Dr. Dan Johnson D.D.S. says, "Life is too short to stain your teeth on cheap wine." This Syrah is a Washington classic with fresh and vibrant blueberry and cassis flavors, shaded with mineral and pepper notes that linger enticingly on the open finish. It is also happens to share the name with Dusted Valley's infamous wine club, The Stained Tooth Society.
