Its colour is bright ruby red with violet hues, crisp on the palate, delicate scent of wild rose and violet, cherry, red fruits and gooseberry, pleasant wine, which is the fruit pulp. Elegant notes ethereal, sensation of spices: cinnamon and cloves of carnation. Good structure acid, silky tannins and lovely aromatic persistence.
It combines well with appetizers, pasta dishes with light sauces, fresh cheeses.

The 2018 Dolcetto d'Alba A Elizabeth is a very classic Dolcetto done in the lithe, mid-weight style that is typical of the year, but it has lovely depth as well. Dark cherry, cloves, mocha and licorice add lovely shades of complexity. This is the first vintage that includes fruit from the Marcorini cru in Neive to round out estate fruit from Tre Stelle.
