We build complexity by blending grapes from some of the best growing areas in the Central Coast. The Greenfield area of the Salinas Valley, a major source of the blend, contributes a tropical forward-fruit character; the San Lucas area provides pear and apple aromas, while grapes from Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties impart crisp acidity and backbone. At the winery, the grapes are carefully hand sorted to check the quality before the whole clusters are placed in the press. The wine is highly fragrant with forward fruit and a touch of oak from barrel aging.
