Pfitscher Riserva Cortazo Brenntal 2020

The Pfitscher 2020 Alto Adige Merlot Cabernet Riserva Cortazo Brenntal has a dark flavor profile with baking chocolate (very bitter), toasted spice and wet asphalt or road pavement. Brenntal is considered one of the warmest vineyard sites in Alto Adige. This wine also delivers trail mix, dried cranberry, raisin and a hint of green peppercorn. It shows smooth tannins and medium fruit weight. It is indeed very ripe. Just 2,700 bottles were made.
