The non-vintage Brut is actually a 2009 vintage (not printed on the label) that was disgorged in January 2012. It is a blend of 50% Macabeu, 35% Parellada and 15% Xarello aged for a minimum 12 months before disgorgement with a dosage of 10-grams per litre. It has a very tight nose of green apple, chalk dust and pear that remain tightly wound, despite coaxing. The palate is well-balanced with a touch of brioche on the entry. It possesses fine acidity with an elegant toffee apple tinged finish. Drink now-2015.

The nose is defined by white fruit aromas, while the palate is a bit flat in feel but lively enough. It tastes of papaya and peach, with a touch of green herb.
