Poderi Luigi Einaudi Barolo Costa Grimaldi 2009The result of an accurate selection of grapes from the Einaudi vineyard in Barolo. A great wine of the Langa, garnet red with a shade of amber, of intense and embracing fragrance, full bodied but smooth tannic taste, with a long spiced final taste. The annual production is of 7.000 bottles.

Aquinas Cabernet Sauvignon 2017The 2017 Aquinas Cabernet Sauvignon offers up aromas of wild fruit, briar patch, plum and blackcurrant. The palate opens to a juicy, lush, medium-bodied mouthfeel where the aromas ring true with bright fruit character and crushed herb, pencil shavings and spice flavors. The wine is a cooler climate style; elegant with a rich texture and integrated, smooth tannins. With 12 months of aging in primarily American oak and some French oak, the Cabernet Sauvignon is well-balanced with good acidity and a lingering, flavorful finish. The wine's weight is first felt on the front of the palate but then coats the entire mouth with placating tannin and a light, pleasing grittiness. Bedrock Wine Co. Old Vine Zinfandel 20182018 was a brilliant year for Zinfandel across California, and this wine reflects it. The 2018 is a blend of 85% Zinfandel filled out with Mataro, Grenache, Alicante Bouschet, Carignan, Petite Sirah and scant amounts of the many other varieties that can be found in California's older, multifarious vineyards. Many of our most venerable vineyards contribute to this wine, including Bedrock, Teldeschi, Esola, Pagani, Papera, Evangelho and Pato filled in with lots from other old vineyards throughout the state. This will provide great drinking pleasure with a decant early on, but as with most iterations of this bottling, will develop nicely for a number of years.
