Arona Sauvignon Blanc 2018
|Region||New Zealand, Marlborough|
Wine SpectatorOpens with green herbal notes of fresh parsley and thyme. Vibrant lemon-lime and pineapple flavors mingle with a dash of saline on the finish. Drink now. 13,000 cases made, 12,500 cases imported.
Wine EnthusiastRipe, almost confected, pineapple leads the way here but it's not over the top. Grapefruit zest, snow peas and tomato-leaf characters are also in the mix. The palate is waxy in texture with fleshy tropical and citrus fruit balanced by salt and green-vegetable flavors. The acidity is on the mean and green side but the ripe fruit creeps back in on the finish.
