Mauro Molino Barolo Vigna Conca 2003
Wine SpectatorHas focused aromas of raspberry and blackberry, with vanilla undertones. Full-bodied, chewy and powerful. Very structured and a little hard, but will come around nicely. Best after 2010. 210 cases made.
Wine AdvocateThe 2003 Barolo Conca is the most complex as well as complete wine in this line-up. It is an inviting Barolo that provides beautiful balance, with well-defined aromatics and layers of dark fruit, menthol and spices. This full-bodied, generous wine captures the best qualities of the vintage in plenty of style. It will be even better in another year or two once the tannins have settled down a bit. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2015.
