Dancing Bull Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Wine AdvocatePerhaps the most surprising value in this portfolio is the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon (100,000 cases produced) which comes primarily from Sonoma County. A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon with the balance Merlot and Zinfandel, this dark ruby-hued Cabernet reveals fleshy black and red currant notes intermixed with loamy, earthy undertones, spice and wood smoke. Medium-bodied and fruity, it is ideal for drinking over the next 1-2 years.
Wine EnthusiastThere are lots of deep, dark chocolate, candied blackberry, plum and raisin flavors in this dry, full-bodied red wine. The alcohol level is modest.
