The NV Heritage Ruby Port was aged for an average of three years in used oak barrels and was bottled in 2014, although that is not listed on the label. This is a straightforward, entry-level Port with only nominal concentration and modest structure. It drinks nicely enough as a house pour, but don't expect the structure and definition you get from nice LBVs or Reserves. It is a bit sharp on the finish. Although I could not quite get any visible evidence of a bottling date, it is worth publishing at least one occasion just to give readers some idea of where this category is in the grand scheme of things.
