Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay 2008
Lemon curd, white flower, crushed chalk aromas. Citrus pith, pineapple rind, mineral flavors. Try with tandori chicken, fish tacos, ceviche. The 2008 harvest delivered highly concentrated, beautifully balanced chardonnay. there just wasn't much of it! we harvested only 60% of the tonnage we had under contract. this wine--pressed from grapes the size of blueberries--is a full point lower in alcohol, and noticeably higher in acidity than the 07.
