A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir 2015The generous 2015 vintage delivered rich, dark color to the 2015 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir. As the wine opens, aromas expand to include pip tobacco, fennel and red currants. The palate initially mirrors the aromatics with complex, pure red and blue fruit flavors. Anthill Farms Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2016Bright ruby-red. White pepper-accented red fruits on the nose, with a sexy floral nuance adding complexity. Lively raspberry and bitter cherry flavors gain sweetness with air and are sharpened by a bitter blood orange quality. Shows strong fruit-driven appeal and a silky character, finishing with very good cut and length and soft, sneaky tannins.
Argyle Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2017Argyle Pinot Noir is a veritable representation of the Willamette Valley. Fermented entirely in small, 1.5 ton lots and plunged by hand, Argyle Pinot Noir is blended for purity and focus. The 2017 vintage toes the line between red and dark fruit with savory spice and delicate floral notes. Late season ripening in 2017 lends itself to a lively, fresh middle palate along with classic Argyle silky texture and persistent length.
B-Side Pinot Noir 2016The B Side Pinot Noir is a brilliant ruby red in the glass with the slightest blood orange hued edge. This is a soul-filled Pinot Noir with lifted aromas of raspberry, rose petal, cherry cola and black tea. Further spiced with notes of clove and fresh forest, the aromas lead to a full-bodied, richly textured palate with layered flavors of black cherry, violets, spice and smoke. With each additional swirl of the glass, the wine becomes moodier with hints of dried orange peel, tart plum, sage and lavender adding complexity. The wine is aged for 12 months with 30% of the blend in new French Oak barrels (Francois Frere, Damy & DJ) while the remaining portion of the blend (70%) is in seasoned, one to two-year-old barrels.
Josh Cellars Pinot NoirAromas of bright cherries, raspberries and toasty oak burst in the glass. Dark cherry, cocoa and vanilla bean flavors fill the mouth with a rich intensity and finish long. Food Pairing: Pair this pinot noir with roasted turkey or duck, soft cheese like Brie and Comte, and hearty vegetables like stuffed mushrooms or braised cabbage. For dessert, pair this pinot with chocolate glazed strawberries.
Belle Glos Dairyman Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016Dark ruby red in color with satisfying aromas of boysenberry, dark cherry and mulberry along with delicate hints of baking spices, dill, cola, nutmeg and vanilla. On the palate, bold flavors of cranberry, ripe plum, cherry and super-ripe strawberry are uplifted by gentle notes of cocoa powder and sweet fig for a generous and silky mouthfeel. This tremendously complex and broad-shouldered wine finishes with grace.
