Fratelli Revello Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata 2005
|Region||Italy, Piedmont, Barolo|
Wine SpectatorRaspberry and blueberry aromas follow through to a full body, with soft, silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Balanced, harmonious and beautiful, with wonderful complexity. Best after 2012.
Wine AdvocateThe 2005 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a remarkably graceful, layered wine endowed with notable detail and clarity, all qualities that were especially hard to come by in 2005. There is incredible vividness to be found in the glass, where endless nuances of freshly cut roses, menthol, minerals and spices all come to life. The wine's inner perfume carries through all the way to the intensely satisfying finish. This is a gem. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025.
