Chateau Prieure Lescours Saint Emilion 2001
|Region||France, Bordeaux, St. Emilion|
|Brand||Chateau Prieure Lescours|
This chateau is located on the commune of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens. Since its acquisition by Jean-Luc Thunevin in 2001, his wife Murielle Andraud and her team have taken over the management and care of the vineyard. The winery was rebuilt to create a completely clean and healthy environment in order to produce pure and elegant wine. A system of louvers on all four sides of the winery allow for maximum air flow. The wine is aged in new barrels like the Chateau Valandraud for a period of 18 months.
Mature, with pretty sandalwood and black tea notes gliding through the core of mulled plum and black currant fruit. Perfumy finish. Drink up. Drink now. 2,500 cases made.
