Jacquesson Brut Cuvée #734

SKU 09164

Thanks to the quality of our terroirs, all Premiers and Grands Crus from La Grande Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs, thanks to our traditionalistic viticulture where we completely eschew the use of herbicides, and thanks to our using only the cuvée from each pressing, but also because we have absolutely no hesitation, in difficult vintages, in rejecting juice which doesn't meet our standards, our non-vintage wines retain the best of every harvest and we are able to say that they faithfully reflect the characteristics of the base vintage whilst benefiting from the addition of some vins de réserve. Therefore, our wines have a personality which can be quite different depending on their base vintage, which means they each need to have their own identity.

Wine EnthusiastBased on the 2006 vintage, this current release of Jacquesson's nonvintage wine has richness and power, while tight acidity surrounds the core of pear and pineapple fruits. The touch of steel gives a great final bite.

Wine AdvocateThe NV Brut Cuvee N° 734 comes across as tightly wound and focused. Lemon, hazelnuts, flowers and sweet dried herbs are some of the nuances that take shape in the glass in this focused, wiry Champagne. The Cuvee N° 734 is 54% Chardonnay, 26% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir, based vintage 2006. This bottle was disgorged in the first quarter, 2011. Dosage was 3.5 grams per liter. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.
