Gerard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé 2017A soft, pale, brilliant pink with bluish tints developing over time towards more orangey nuances. The bouquet releases aromas of summer fruits, cassis and redcurrant. Floral notes of rose along with hints of grapefruit complete the picture. The finish is fresh, offering notes of candy. On the palate the impression is fresh and full, with great aromatic persistence and balance. Pairings: This Languedoc is ideal at 10°C as an aperitif or with shellfish and subtly spiced dishes.
Kim Crawford Pansy! Rose 2015The first thing that strikes you about this rosé is its deep, vibrant burnt orange colour, a pretty good indication that it's made from pinot noir. And it's not just the colour that's distinctive. Unlike most rosés, which tend to be fairly light and lively, this is robust in texture and weight. The flavours are concentrated, layered, and well defined, the acidity is clean and fresh, and there's a light tannic dryness. This is a rosé that walks down a different path and it's delicious.
Chateau d'Esclans Whispering Angel 2017Grapes grown from some of the most choice land in the surrounding region of La Motte en Provence.
Mulderbosch Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2016The 2016 Mulderbosch Rosé exhibits a delicate dusty pink colour reminiscent of classic dry Rosé styles. Bracing mineral aromatics and floral notes are found on the nose whilst the well balanced and vibrant palate features freshly sliced watermelon, Turkish rose water and subtly herbaceous Cabernet Sauvignon flavours. Amplifying its fresh, clean acidity and striking length is a burst of succulent Ruby grapefruit that carries the wonderful ensemble to a pleasant, lasting finish.
Gran Moraine Yamhill Carlton Rosé 2016Aromas: White peach, Chinese gooseberry, Asian pear, strawberry, grapefruit zest, honeysuckle nectar, watermelon rind, rhubarb. Flavors: Meringue, D'anjou pear, quince, kumquat, lime. Texture: Bright cleansing acidity, very long citrus finish.
Aimé-Roquesante Cotes de Provence Rose 2017Nice pale color with strong pink highlights. Powerful nose, with red fruit aroma. Wide and powerful, with a pleasant acidity. Well balanced, it offers the flavor of Provence with a good finesse.
M. Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Rose' 2017Colour: pale pink with bluish tints. Nose: aromas of red fruits and citrus (grapefruit, etc.) complemented by notes of exotic fruits.
