Aged for 8 years. Hugo Asbach created this noble composition for connoisseurs in 1908. Distilled from choice wines from the best wine-growing areas, Asbach Privatbrand is aged for at least 8 years in small casks made of Limousin oak. Its full-bodied, mellow taste and distinctive amber colour make it a truly unique experience. The nose is decidedly fruity with notes of bitter chocolate and cedar wood. The palate is full-bodied and very spicy, a well-developed flavor of fruits with background notes of almonds and spices. The finish is very long, with full-bodied, aromatic and ripe notes.
