This pure, elegant wine shows what is possible from Chardonnay grown at select coastal sites in Paso Robles. It offers inviting aromas of Bosc pear, pineapple and guava graced with hints of hibiscus flower, white peach and allspice. Notes of honeysuckle and vanilla complement fragrances of tropical fruit and warm toast. The palate is lush and silky, with mouth filling flavors of sweet honeydew melon, mango, pineapple and vanilla crème brûlée. Complementary flavors of citrus and nectarine are accented by suggestions of hazelnut and toasted almonds throughout an amazingly long, supple finish.

Les Alliés Chablis 2018This Chardonnay comes from the French region of Chablis (north of Burgundy) which is famous for its dry white wines renowned for the purity of their aroma and taste. The terroir of the calcareous soil and cooler climate gives and maintain high green apple-like acidity. A racy wine, with remarkably complex bouquet and strong mineral notes, suggesting aromas of acacia flowers, lemon and honey. Ideal with hors d'oeuvre, white meats and fish.

J. Lohr Riverstone Chardonnay 2018The 2018 Riverstone Chardonnay exhibits youthful hues of light straw. The enticing aromas are reminiscent of white peach, apricot, ripe orange, and cocoa, and complemented by the palate flavors of citrus cream and nectarine. Medium in body, there is a delightful liveliness from ample and integrated natural acidity, that also provides for a long mouth- watering nish.

Schild Estate Shiraz 201790 Points - Wine Spectator 90 Points - Decanter Dark ruby, with purple, black hues. Notes of black fruited plums and mulberries sit alongside glimpses of more red fruited cranberry and goji berries. Controlled and tight. Slippery dark plum and blackcurrant fruit flavors show early on the palate and are supported by more subtle glimpse of chocolate and cocoa. Lunadoro Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 201592 Points - Wine Spectator Dark ruby red color with intense garnet hints. Complex and characteristic bouquet, with mature fruits aroma and pepper notes, as well as plum jam and floral notes of violet, chocolate and cigar. Balanced taste, with sweet tannins and the right acidity for a dynamic long finish. Obtained from the vinitification of Sangiovese, its ruby red colour evolves to a quite strong garnet colour. It has a complex and characteristic bouquet with a mature fruit aroma, notes of black pepper, prune jam, a floral note of violet, cigar and dark chocolate aromas. Well balanced on the palate and with sweet tannins that, combined with the correct acidity, create a long lasting finish. Ancillary aromas of coffee and cocoa are rounded out nicely with notes of crushed sage and baking spice. Full bodied and formidable on the palate, offering enticing and juicy wild blackberry, Oregon blueberry and crisp black cherry flavors. Hints of plum and mulberry are accentuated with fig, black olives and fine leather. Excellent structure and harmony between the pure fruit core and firm, supple backbone of polished tannins. Finish is surprisingly elegant for a wine of such power. Silky and smooth, ending on lovely notes of sweet cherry and boysenberry.

In the midst of it is the Paradiso vineyard, a veritable little wine paradise with superbly exposed slopes and a special magic of its own. The Nebbiolo grapes, which ripen here, give this wine a powerful structure. The soft tannins are harmoniously interwoven. Fruit aromas are intense but with great finesse. Sasso means stone, and countless small rocky terraces are one of the particular features of the site. In the middle there is a little chapel, also known as Sassella.
