LUKE Chardonnay is 100% Evergreen Vineyard, hailed as one of Washington's signature white wine vineyards. Burgundian in style, our chardonnay is barrel fermented & barrel aged. The result is a wine layered with notes of creme bruleé, vanilla, mango, banana peel, and baked pie crust. A thin layer of minerality and acidity lengthen the finish providing a lasting impression of what the Columbia Valley has to offer.

All of the fruit for this wine comes from Evergreen Vineyard. Aged in third-fill barrels and neutral oak with 50% malolactic fermentation, the aromas of apple, pumpkin and talc are plentiful. The palate is bright and fresh, with lemony flavors. It brings texture and tension.

Very pale, bright yellow. Fruit-driven aromas of white peach, nectarine and honeydew complicated by leesy and spicy nuances. Supple, pure and classically dry, offering subtle richness of texture and breadth. As much melon and lemon curd as white stone fruits on the palate. A nice showing but doesn't have the length for 90 points. And best suited for fairly early drinking.

From the Evergreen vineyard, the 2019 Chardonnay Ancient Lakes displays a pale straw color and offers up a nose of classic aromas of white peach, yellow apple and pear with a pleasant lift of citrus blossom and hints of lemon curd in the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is energetic and juicy, with a pleasing line of acidity, showing balance through the mid-palate with fresh, vibrant pomaceous and citrus flavors, ending with a lingering finish that will surely please a crowd.
