A pure fruit expression of our vineyard, Talbott Chardonnay, Kali Hart is lush and lively. Minimal winemaker influence allows Kali Hart Chardonnay to showcases the strength of Talbott's estate vineyards. The rich, inviting nose shows bright tropical notes that continue on the palate, where refreshing flavors of pineapple and honeydew are complimented by refreshing acidity. A generous mid-palate leads to a long citrus and tropical fruit finish with hints of French oak and minerality. Kali Hart Chardonnay is named after Robb Talbott's youngest daughter.

Rodney Strong Sonoma County Chardonnay 2014We barrel fermented 60% of this wine and aged that portion in barrel for six months, stirring the lees every month. Frank Family Chardonnay 2013Frank Family Vineyards 2013 Napa Valley Chardonnay has a pale yellow straw color. Aromas of fresh tropical fruit, marzipan and honeysuckle jump from the glass. On the palate, the wine has generous notes of sweet vanilla, pear and Meyer lemon. Stone fruits and ripe citrus zest lead to the rich creamy mid palate, and fresh green apple on the finish. During the twelve months of barrel aging, we regularly stirred the "lees" in barrel, which imparts an elegant fullness and creamy texture on the palate. In the glass, the wine is both creamy and crisp, with flavors of golden delicious apple, pear, Meyer lemon, baking spices with a hint of minerality on the long finish. Food pairings: Enjoy over the next one to three years with a gourmet cheese plate, creamy vegetable pasta or grilled halibut.
